"She had reached a lake. A huge lake that reminded her of the sea she had seen once as a child, when she still lived in the Capital. The trees scattered along the coast. The water was clear and still.

As the sun set, inside the water lights gradually shone in pastel colours of marble. It was a mesmerising sight. She followed them in, without losing sight of them. Inside the water her ears popped and her eyes dried, but she could see - she could see the immense city that sat underwater."
